The Evolution current account has been developed in partnership with Secure Trust Bank, and is the UK’s first current account with a prepaid card facility.

The unique account combines all of the features associated with a traditional bank account, including standing order and direct debit facilities. The account holder can only spend as much money as is on the card, so there is no danger of going overdrawn and being charged.

The account is available to anyone subject to qualifying identity checks and the accompanying card can be used free of charge at over 28.5 million retail outlets worldwide, for online purchases and abroad wherever the MasterCard logo features.
